FROM THE ARCHIVES |
Lou Dupont has built a flourishing Auto Body business in Calgary based on the principal of "FIRST CLASS OR NOT AT ALL". We've managed to dig out some old pictures of Lou's Auto Body. We hope you enjoy looking back at our history as much as we did. |

| 1969 - The Year It All Began |
| What you see is an old picture of the original body shop. Lou began his body shop in November of 1969, in what was basically an old barn. |

| |
| 1971 - What A Difference! |
By 1971, Lou had developed an image in Calgary, and his quality and service, along with renovations to the "old barn", improved his awareness in the community. |

| 1972 - Must Move, No Room! |
 |
In 1972 with business growing, Lou's was forced to move to larger, more modern facilities, just two blocks away, to their present location at 1801 - 9th Avenue S.E. |
| |
| 1999 - Present Day! |
Additions in 1976 and 1982 would bring the total shop area to 24,000 square feet, putting Lou's among the 5 largest shops in Calgary. In 1988 Lou's "went neon" with a rotating sign. This has become a recognizable landmark easily seen from 9th Avenue SE or Blackfoot Trail.
